He lived in the block of flats I lived in after his release from prison. Staying with his mate (Wolfman who had a hit For Lovers) This was just when he started seeing Kate Moss.
He was a decent enough chap to talk to. QPR fan and used to write for a fanzine of theirs so he said.

I've often found a lot of people who hate/criticise him have never listened to anything he has written or played just read headlines in the Sun about him
In many interviews he comes across as a really well

Spent some time with Docherty, and have to say, was always charming, and definitely has something special about him. Shame he got on the smack, obviously, but was always really nice from my experiences.
